The CastelloInMovimento cultural center was founded in 2008 with the aim of making the Malaspina Castle in Fosdinovo a place of thought and production, a venue for shared initiatives and a promoter of multidisciplinary projects. A new cultural center for the Lunigiana area and the Province of Massa Carrara. Experimental production center specialized in contemporary languages, the castle annually hosts a residency program for writers and visual artists. During the summer season, it opens to the public for an international event, a cycle of academic seminars, cultural mediation meetings and study visits.
SCHOOLS
The cultural center of the castle offers schools a variety of workshops for children run by professionals of child education. The days organized for schools take place in large rooms in a tower and in the central courtyard of the castle
RESIDENCY
The residency program curated by CASTELLOINMOVIMENTO is the only Italian residence for artists and writers in which the contamination between art and literature helps to create an ideal place for production.
SEMINARS
Seminars are offered each year on topics under study in collaboration with university institutions or important specialization bodies.
