Inside the whole structure of the building, from the prison to the lookout towers, is the museum of the castle. The tour lasted about one hour, during which is possible to investigate aspects of the architecture and the history of the castle and the Malaspina family. Particularly interesting are the wall of the halls painted by Gaetano Bianchi, the Room of Dante Alighieri, the collections of coins, pottery, weapons, tools and instruments of torture. For the most curious, moreover, is also included into the tour the visit of the room of the legendary ghost, Bianca Maria Aloisia. .
Collection of contemporary art: during the summer you can walk around the castle looking for works of contemporary art left by guest artists (fellows) in Residency.
The museum is open for guided tours.
It is always possible, by appointment, plan the visit in groups even outside the timetable.
